Best Online Ruler provides a free, browser-based on-screen ruler tool, calibrated using information you provide (device selection, screen diagonal, or a reference object). It is provided "as is," free of charge, with no account required.

Accuracy disclaimer

This tool is intended for everyday, casual measurement: sizing a package, comparing an object, quick estimates, and similar uses. Measurement accuracy depends entirely on correct calibration and on your device's display characteristics, both of which are outside our control. Do not rely on this tool for measurements where inaccuracy could cause injury, financial loss, or any safety-critical, legal, medical, or professional consequence. Always verify with a calibrated physical measuring instrument when precision matters.
